Message from the Website Administrator

This website is maintained and moderated by an OLLSN alumni detached from the school's management and influence. It is envisioned that this site will serve as an avenue of information, repository of thoughts and blog of activities of the OLLSN Alumni Association which will later be turned over to the new batch of officers.

As I, for one, also share the same frustrations, rants and shout outs with the school (naaalala ko na minumura ko yung Math teacher ko while I'm taking my Algebra and Trigo exams sa UP dahil wala sa kalingkingan yung mga naituro niya), I have learned to be composed and took things objectively (salamat Chevron for embedding in me a culture of synergy). As such, I would like to ask fellow alumni to air their thoughts and concerns in a constructive way. If you think the content is boring, point out why it is boring and be brave enough to name yourself and not hide under the name "Anonymous". I would appreciate comments to make me better. Otherwise, you are just a nuisance and just being obnoxious.

  4. I must say, this blog was nicely done. A little bit plain but I'm sure you guys will think of something to make this site lively.

When was the OLLSNAA established? I didn't know that we have an alumni association. I think you guys are doing a great job. Keep it up!

Oh, I have a similar story too.

I also thought of becoming an engineer so I applied for B.S. CHE in UST and luckily, I got accepted. When classes started, suddenly my world was turned upside down. :-p Hanep! Then 2nd Sem, Trigo and Geom at the same time. Isabay pa ang programing C++. Hala! nagkalabolabo na. Hindi na kaya ng sipag at tiyaga. So, I decided to leave engineering and went to pursue a degree in business. Switching to another major was one of my wisest decisions.

I wonder if OLLSN changed their curriculum to something that would better prepare the students in entering college. It really helped them decide on what major to pursue.

Maybe, the OLLSNAA could help improve OLLSN's curriculum in the future. :-)

  5. this is what we get for a free web site. i agree it is plain but it serve its purpose in the meantime. hopefully those ollsn alumni turned website geeks can dress this up by just changing the CSS script. unfortunately, i don't know how to do it. hehehe :)

college is really a survival of the fittest. good thing you have come to your senses early on and pursue what you really like. your decision pays off. as with regards to the school's curriculum, i agree with your suggestions. :)
