  2. Too bad I won't be there for the Homecoming. I would have wanted to attend. Please let me know if there are any events in March.
    Best Regards,

  3. balita ko flop daw ang homecoming niyo??? hehehe masyado kasing mahal ang entrance fee kaya maraming nag-decide na hindi na lang pumunta.

  4. if only you listened to the request of other alumni to lower the entrance fee, the homecoming would have been a success...

  5. the attendance is beyond than the number of expected attendees (because of those who have confirmed but didn't attend) but we had fun. maganda yung program complete with all the event design elements. everyone has gotten gift goodies courtesy of the sponsors and game prizes. many of those who have attended are already managers, from Mercedes Benz, Johnson and Johnson, from a Saudi Hotel, Goldilocks, a PhD from Nanyang Singapore, etc. i for one have gained friends and network connections. my co-emcee have even gotten sponsors from Lorea'l and Vidal Sassoon for make-over.

as per invitation, the objectives of the alumni homecoming are:

    1) to celebrate 25 years of OLLSN founding,
    2) to serve as a venue to meet, socialize and share network with fellow alumni
    3) to give recognition to outstanding alumni, as well as
    4) to rekindle memories during the OLLSN days
    5) to raise funds for the benefit of Kalinga Foundation, Inc. and the proposed OLLSNAA Scholarship project

from my perspective, we have achieved the first 4. we have abandoned objective 5 because of the additional expense it will entail and the lack of sponsorship we have.

was there a clamor to lower the entrance fee? the P350 for students, i think is worth it, you can ask Krisheela Enriquez who had her lifetime enjoying the Photobooth. for the past, you have been paying P250 as per historical record for a so-so event. for the alumni entrance fee, management has decided to lower them on the last few days and it has been noted.

i don't think the issue on attendance is the cost of entrance fee. it's the ATTITUDE which created a bandwagon.
